可及性服务: 收到住宿
Eligibility and Process for 收到住宿
The office of 可及性服务 provides access and academic accommodations for qualified students. A qualified student is one who meets the requisite academic standards for admission or participation in college programs/activities. An accommodation is an alternate way of accessing educational materials or conveying or communicating knowledge or mastery of an objective in a course. Accommodations cannot lower the standards of a course or program.
In order for a student to be eligible for accommodations, the following will take place:
- The student will schedule an intake interview with the office of 可及性服务 (AS) by calling 610-372-4721 x5062 or emailing accessibility@hbcutext.com
- 在面试的时候, the student will disclose the disability and discuss how the disability affects him or her.
- The student will present documentation of the disability that includes the nature, 程度上, and functional limitations of the disability (请参阅文档要求).
- The student will request any accommodations needed because of the disability.
- Documentation will be confidentially maintained in the office.
- 可及性服务 staff will review the documentation to determine if the impairment is substantially limiting and will determine if the student is eligible for accommodations.
- If accommodations are deemed appropriate, AS staff and the student will sign a Student Accommodation Plan.
- AS staff will create a memo to each instructor listing the accommodations to be provided. 学生将收到一份复印件.
- The student will present the accommodation memo to 教师, and AS staff will email the accommodation memos to 教师. 教师 will assist AS and the student in implementing the accommodations.
- Maintain a working relationship with 可及性服务 and discuss ongoing accommodation needs, as necessary throughout your time at 中国澳门博彩官网.
- 学生, 教师, and AS staff will maintain an interactive, working relationship to appropriately accommodate students with documented disabilities.
